Description of my issue:
I worked with backup with included transfer to amazon/s3 for a long time. After the last updates the transfer is not anymore available and having a look into the configuration shows that the fields for 'data processing engine' are not available as well! ALICE check ends with an error as well.

And it's not only on this installation - same situation with other joomla sites in the same hosting.

Thanks for your instructions to go forward!

Best regards
Heinz

PS
Upgrade of the PHP version from 5.5 to 5.6 would be available now.

This is strange. I can see that all the necessary files are included in our Akeeba Backup Professional 4.5.1 package and installed properly on every site I've tested (including brand new Joomla! 3.4.8 sites I spun up just for testing). This leaves us with two possibilities.

A. You have accidentally installed Akeeba Backup Core. Not sure how you'd end up doing that but it would explain the missing field.

B. Joomla! forgot to copy some files. It happens sometimes.

The solution to both issues is the same. Please download Akeeba Backup Professional from our site's Download page and install it on your site twice, without uninstalling Akeeba Backup before or in between these installation.
