My cron job was updating the Akeeba Backup until now. It does not find the 4.5.0 version. I get the following email when the cron job is executed.

Hello Levis,

tis info is cached inside Joomla. This means that until you manually purge the cache or it expires, it won't fetch the new version.

I just right now tested with one site. I went to /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=update
and clicked the button "Clear Cache".

After I executed the cron job and I got the same result. The update cron job used to work just find before this last 4.5.0 version. I never had to manually clear the cache.

I have an hunch on what's going on. To be 100% sure, could you please run the cronjob in debug mode, appending the --debug=1 param to the executed command?
