Hello,

I just want to restore the site and adjust the site parameters. I don't want to restore die database, becuase it is reacable from the new subdomain too. How can I skip to restore the database and go directly to the adjustments of the siteparameters?

Regards,

Peter

You really can't do that with a full site backup. You can run kickstart to extract the files and then just quit. The configuration.php file is where the site parameters are stored, you can edit the file directly and put in your new settings.

If you create a files only backup you could do exactly what you want.
