By moving a project from my server to the server of my client everything worked well. I reconfigured Akeeba Backup to save everything after moving. All directories are correct - the Configuration Wizard runs and the trouble shooter tells me, I have to readjust the timings. I did everything that is mentioned in your documentations and trouble shooter - but with no success. At 74 percent the backup breaks with this ugly 500 error. I think this is not the best hoster but this is not my decission. Can you give me a hand finding out what is going wrong?

Thank you in advice!

Alex

Hello Alexander,

could you please try to setup a part size of 10Mb and take another backup?

Yes. This worked but this creates for a really small site a plenty number of files. What has to be changed to get at least 100-MB-files?

Host :)
Strato allows the creation of files up to 10Mb, if they grow up larger the process gets killed.
