Hi from the Netherlands,
I presume it is a very easy to answer question.

Is it possible with kickstart to upload a demo package (e.g. from yootheme or rockettheme or joomlart) and then install?

Now I have first unpacked a demo transfer it by ftp which is sloooooowwww!

Hello Han,

yes, sure!
Simply upload the package and then kickstart file: in the starting page you will able to select the installation package.
After the extraction, you will able to install the demo site as usual.
