Dear All,

that problem that i have is :

when i am running the config wizard im geting

(akeeba Backup could not find a writable output and temporary directory. Please give write permissions to the administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup directory and run this wizard again.)

and when this appears and i refresh the page im geting

authorization with 404 screen and wherever i want to go in admin area ex plugins modules im geting the same screen and i need to reinstall the site.

and if i try to make a back up im geting the folowing

Backup Failed

The backup operation has been halted because an error was detected.

The last error message was:

AJAX Loading Error

HTTP Status: 401 (Unauthorized)

Internal status: error

XHR ReadyState: 4

Raw server response:

Unauthorized

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Please click the 'Analyse Log' button below have Akeeba Backup analyse its log file for further information.

after this again i get the
authorization with 404 screen and wherever i want to go in admin area ex plugins modules im geting the same screen and i need to reinstall the site.

The permissions was 775 and change it to 777 but still the same
Disk space i have unlimited :) ( and when i say unlimited i mean unlimited like a commercial here in greece nicholas knows :) )

My Best Regards

Hello,

I suspect the problem is your host blocking you after too many requests.
First of all, avoid using the configuration wizard, since you'll end up locking yourself out.

Inside the configuration page, please set these settings:

Minimum execution time: 10 seconds
Maximum exectuion time: 3 seconds
Runtime bias: 50
Client-side implementation of minimum execution time: Checked

In this way the backup will be much slower, but you won't hit your host limitations.

Can you please contact your host and double check that they are not blocking the process?
So we can be sure it's not something related to too many requests.
