I tried to run CRON JOB.

php /home4/keyshain/public_html/homepage/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=3

And I get this via email:

Status: 500 Internal Server Error
Content-type: text/html

I contacted my hoster. They looked into the log files and found this:

[29-Apr-2015 16:20:01] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or '(' in /home4/keyshain/public_html/homepage/cli/akeeba-backup.php on line 25

so they told me it's a prolem with the script.

Please help.

The T_STRING error is usually a too old version of PHP. You are calling the default version there, you may be forcing a newer version in your .htaccess file to run your site. You would need to call that version with a path in front of the php part.

While you are talking to your host support about the path. You need to be calling PHP-CLI, not PHP-CGI or PHP_FCGI.
