Description of my issue:

An updated version of Akeeba Backup (4.1.1) is available for installation

but already on 4.1.1

Status Summary

Akeeba Backup is ready to backup your site

Akeeba Backup Professional 4.1.1 (2015-01-11) . Also the

Uninstalled and re-installed through installer, Cleared caches, purged Joomla update, clicked the "reload update info" all with no luck. Message does not disappear. What do I miss?

Yep, sometimes you get a stuck browser or Joomla! cache. In theory you can click on the Refresh update information button, or force refresh (CTRL-F5 under Windows) the page, or just wait it out. Our usual advice is: wait it out.
