EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Have not used Akeeba for some time.
Upgraded Joomla to 2.5.28
Provider updated PHP to 5.4

I went to Akeeba extension and installed update 4.1.1

When I take a back up I get a message -
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

Hello Steve,

it seems you have a permission issue on your site.
Can you please try to enable FTP layer inside Joomla global configuration?

After speaking with host it seems that server security software was identifying a backup run as a threat.
Consequently my IP address was blocked which lead to the permissions problem.

After password protecting the Administrator directory the host agreed to disable the security rule.
