Description of my issue:

Hi

Please can you tell me what menu(s) I must use to access the 'Send by mail' setting so that I can set up a email (with attahcment) to be sent after a scheduled backups has completed

Many thanks

Steve

The option is in the post processing engine. Use the Configure button to set up the email address and subject.

Note that this only works for a really small backup. The backup archive quickly becomes too large for the email attachment to handle.

Thanks Dale,

As you say this might not be the best solution due to file sizes, but is there a way to send an email with a link to the file on my server rather than an attachment?

Alternatively I might lok in to the drop box upload option.

I can't think of any way to send just a link to the backup archive. The cloud storage options are probably the best solution. If you need to send the backup archive to another person, you can upload it to a shared folder on the cloud storage. Dropbox and S3 would both support that, those are the two that I'm most familiar with.
