Hello,

I have a simple question.
I have configured Akeeba Backup in order to save on Dropbox my website. I selected "Full site" as type of backup and .zip as type of file.
The zip folder is correctly saved on Dropbox, but there is no database inside.

Did I miss something???

The "full site" backup will back up all of the files on your site in addition to the database. The database dump would be located inside the /installation/sql folder in one or more .sql files.

VERY IMPORTANT! You do not need to restore the files and backups of your sites separately. This process is absolutely inefficient. Akeeba Backup puts your files, your database AND a restoration script inside that backup archive (ZIP file). The entire concept of Akeeba Backup restoration is extract the backup archive to a web site, access the web site and follow the instructions on your screen. For more information please refer to https://www.akeebabackup.com/videos/63-video-tutorials/1508-abt06-restoring-to-new-server-using-kickstart.html

In the extremely unlikely event that you cannot use the web-based restoration script you can always do an emergency manual restoration by following the detailed instructions in https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/unorthodox-emergency-restoration.html However, and I cannot stress this enough, this is NOT the typical or recommended way to restore your backups. It is the unorthodox, emergency manual procedure. It's like the emergency exit on a plane. You are only supposed to use it when something has gone really, REALLY wrong.
