I upgraded to akeeba backup to versieon 4.1.0rc3 but the component shows the upgrade message that I should upgrade to version 3.1.11. althought Akeeba Backup version 4.1.0rc3 is compatible with Joomla 2.5x?
Same happens after upgrading admintools uopgrading to version 3.3.1 keeps showing the message that I should upgrade to version 2.6.2??

Hello Joost,

this is a known Joomla bug: update information are cached even after you update your extension.
Please visit the page Extension Manager -> Update -> hit Clear Cache button.

The update message won't be displayed anymore.
