HI Nicholas,

I trust you are well?

I have been using your excellent products for many many months now and that includes using a post processing backup to Amazon S3 on about 30 sites

This process has always been very successful but something changed on the 19th/20th November as now on many (haven't had time to check them all yet...) of the Amazon S3 profiles are blank, there is no post processing engine selected and the credential fields are empty!?

Is this an issue you are aware of or is it just me!?

My apologies, there was a bug in the RC1 version that prevented the configuration settings from being transferred from the previous version. This has been corrected in RC2, but if you upgraded to RC1, the damage is done.

Note that in 4.1.0 there are two different upload to S3 versions. The Upload to S3 (Legacy) setting is the old API that you have been using. This is well tested, but does not work in Amazon's newer data centers.

The Upload to S3 setting uses the newest Amazon API and works worldwide. We are still discovering the "gotchas" in the new API.

Note also that Nicholas is expecting to release RC3 tonight or tomorrow.
