EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I will ignore Joomla flagging up the Akeena RC as an update (life's too short!). Will this alert be replaced by the stable release update when it's ready - or will it keep alerting me to this RC before I can update to the stable release. Never came across this before.

Hello Jenina,

sadly Joomla has no way for understanding if an update is a stable one or a RC.
You have to watch out the version number: when the RC flag is removed, it means that the version is now stable.
