EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hi all,

purchased and configure Akeeba Backup Pro and I have the following problem:

In the backend, I try to enter the email adress for successful (or failed) backups under "Component parameters -> Frontend backup -> email adress".
The field is already filled with the current user´s name. If I overwrite this value with my email adress and save the config, the users name is still there.

Could you please check ?

Many thanks
Torsten

Hello Torsten,

which browser are you using? Did you enabled the form autocomplete feature?
Are you using any password manager?

Sadly that's something we can't do nothing about: the options page is rendered by Joomla and the access details are automatically filled by your browser (or a browser extensions)

Hi Davide,

many thanks for giving me the right solution. Indeed I use a password manager on Firefox. When trying it with Internet Explorer, all is working fine.

Best regards
Torsten
