EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: Most of the time recently, Akeeba Backup triggered by cron job fails. Debug Log attached.

I have never had problems doing backup from the backend control panel, nor in running the cron command line via a bash shell.

Hello Peter,

looking at your log it seems that the CLI script is killed after about 90 seconds. Can you please contact your host and ask him to raise the timeout limit?
