EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I want to run my first backup in Akeeba-Backup. I have installed the newest Akeeba Version and I also entered the download-Id. But when I start the Backup the following error occurs:

Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten!
500 Layout „admin:com_akeeba/backups/default“ nicht gefunden!

(in English:
500 Layout „admin:com_akeeba/backups/default“ not found!)

Did I miss an important step or did I make mistakes while configurating Akeeba Backup?

Could you please give me an hint? Any help is very welcome!

Hello Martina,

the version you are trying to use is very obsolete, can you please install the latest version of Akeeba Backup?

Hello Davide,

thank you for your quick response. I was a bit confused because the old Akeeba Version showed me the "You've got the latest version"-message.

But now I've installed the new one and everything works really fine.
