At 3 of my sites I have problems with Akeeba Backup.
In the backend I see a lot of Failed messages.
This weekend my hoster blocked these sites cause the server went slow.
I asked the provider for access to the sites. I deleted the cronjobs and after that the server load was normal again.
Akeeba Backup was trying and trying over and over again. So in the backend I saw a lot of Failed attempts. That created a big use of file space.

The backup is starting with a cronjob using the wget command.

The problem is at these sites:
http://stukadoorsbedrijfrommers.nl
http://dvmd.nl/
http://frommadivas.eu/

I have attached the logfiles of these sites.
I hope you can tell me what I can do to fix this.

I have 2 other sites at the same server at the same provider. These 2 are running normal with the same settings.
Best regards,

I checked your backup log files. The first and third log file tell me that the backups were killed as soon as they started. The second one takes 3 hours 20 minutes before it's killed. Looking at the log, this is a fairly standard, small site which should be backing up in a matter of 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Judging from that, your server is approximately 300 times slower than our host, SiteGround. This is not normal, by any means.

My educated guess is that the backup failure is the CONSEQUENCE of the server being slow, not the cause of it.

Ok that sounds as a reason.
But why is it that two other sites at the same server are running without problems?
I used the same configuration with the same cronjobs (copied from the Akeeba Backup component.

I have a suspicion. Did you try running all of the site backups at the same time? That would be a very bad idea. Ideally, each backup should start 30-60 minutes after the previous backup has completed. This will prevent bottlenecks on the server.

There was 30 minutes between each backup.
I will reschedule the backups tonight and then see what happens

Thanks for that suggestion.
I'll let you know if that solved the problem.
