EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: I'm using WebDAV to backup a site. The backup occurs successfully however the files are being duplicated. One copy is being placed in the root folder (base URL) and another in the directory, which where it's meant to be.

So, one copy is in the root folder, https://dav-pocket.appspot.com/docso
and another copy is in https://dav-pocket.appspot.com/docso/Backups/FixITWizz which is the correct place. With a 400MB website, that's a lot of extra storage!

As an addendum, If I delete the files from within Akeeba Backup, the ones in the directory (Backups/FixITWizz) are deleted but the ones in the root directory do not get deleted.

Hello Daniel,

Akeeba Backup only uploads the files once, in the directory specified in your configuration. Apparently the third party WebDAV service you're using is misbehaving, uploading the actual file to two different locations at the same time. Since this is an issue (feature? bug?) in a third party service we cannot do anything to help except telling you that you need to contact the administrators of the dav-pocket service and let them know of this issue.
