Multi-part issue. Setup:

Quota Management:
Activate Amount Quota: enabled
Amount of backups to keep: 10
System Restore Point Quota: 10

1) While for FSB's the quota is correctly applied, it still lists all the previous dates when a backup was taken. Resulting in multiple pages of (obsolete entries). I can't seem to find in the component or documentation where/how to configure that it only lists the entries for (in my case 10) most recent FSB's. So that i dont have pages and pages of obsolete FSB entries. Just 1 page with the 10 backups. Is this possible? If so, how.

2) Quota management for SRP's doesn't seem to get applied. Although configuration states 10, there are currently 13 SRP's listed and 15 were on in the server folder. Is there a bug in the quota management or is my understanding wrong?

1. No, it's not possible. As we have stated in the documentation the quotas are applied per backup profile. This will not change in any future version of Akeeba Backup for performance and stability reasons.

2. As stated in the documentation the quotas don't apply to SRPs. The only quota applicable is the "System Restore Points quota" which determines the maximum size, in Megabytes, NOT the number of SRPs. Quite obviously you have 10Mb and your 13 SRPs are not 10Mb big. So no, it's not a bug.

I don't think you understand 1) That's exactly the configuration i'm talking about. The button "Configuration" and button "Profile management > configure" take me to the same page. I only have 1 (the default) profile. Which has a limit of 10 backup files which are correctly applied, but the date entries "arent"

62 Command-line backup 2014-09-05 00:00:28 OK Taakbalk Volledige site back-up <== 12th, obsolete (that's just a partial list, there were actually around 25 entries valid for 1.5 pages)

I'm talking about the entries in that list. There's 12 listed and configuration is set to keep only 10 files. What my question is, is if it can be done so that that list (under manage backup files > backup tab) only shows an equal amount of entries as there are actual backup files.

So in my case 10 files > 10 entries, not 12

You are repeating what you told me in your first post, which I already told you is incorrect. As I already told you, the documentation explains why it is incorrect. Furthermore I already told you what is incorrect and why it is incorrect. I will say the same thing again one last time.

Which has a limit of 10 backup files which are correctly applied, but the date entries "arent"

I repeat. Read the documentation. As documented:

System Restore Point backups IGNORE the following quotas:
- Count quotas (how many backups to keep)
- Size quotas (maximum size of full site, files only and database only backup archives to keep)
- Day quotas (keep files from X last days)

System Restore Point backups ONLY USE the following quotas
- System Restore Point quotas (maximum !!! SIZE !!!! ***NOT COUNT*** in megabytes of ALL System Restore Point backups)

Moreover, quotas are set PER PROFILE. System Restore Point backups will by default use profile #1. You can define the profile for SRP backups in the System - System Restore Points plugin's preferences. IMPORTANT: System Restore Point quota settings in ANY OTHER backup profile EXCEPT the one used to take SRPs WILL BE IGNORED.

So in my case 10 files > 10 entries, not 12

That 10 is Megabytes, not number of files. Your 12 SRP backups ARE LESS than 10 Megabytes, therefore they are not removed.

63 Command-line backup 2014-09-06 00:00:32 OK Taakbalk Volledige site backup <== 11th, obsolete

62 Command-line backup 2014-09-05 00:00:28 OK Taakbalk Volledige site back-up <== 12th, obsolete (that's just a partial list, there were actually around 25 entries valid for 1.5 pages)

No, they are NOT obsolete. The quota is 10 Megabytes (size of SRP backups). It is NOT 10 entries or 10 files or anything else. It is 10 Megabytes. Place your mouse over the "System Restore Points quota" in the Configuration page. Read the tooltip. It's clearly indicated. Now read the documentation. It's clearly described.
