Description of my issue: Backup fails after ugrade to version 4.0.1 pro with error: Could not rename last JPA part to .JPA extension.

Sorry this happens on every installation (test or live system). No other backups runs. There are definitly no changes to the web servers and/or Joomla CMS except updating to Akeeba Backup 4.0.1 pro and Admin Tools to 3.10 pro.

This cannot be a permission problem because all runs fine before. Please help.

Log file is attached.

Perhaps helpful: Tried out several settings using your analysis log - everything failed.

At least I changed the archive format to ZIP and it works.

Hello,
are you currently under Windows?
Are you using XAMPP to create the server environment (PHP, MySQL and Apache)?

Yes and no. All J installations are under Windows with similar PHP, MySQL and Joomla versions. Server runs with IIS 7.5 - development machine with XAMPP/Apache. But anyway, on each enviroment the finalization of the .jpa archive fails. Dump, .j01 files are created but not the archiv itself. Zip archive works and again: nothing was changed except the update to version 4.0.1.

We found and patched the issue, can you please install the latest dev release and try again?
