EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Is there a way to recover the angie password, which I lost for my latest backups?

Hello,

I'm sorry but that's not possible, that's why password protected archive are so secure.
However, there's a catch: if you don't remember setting a password and you saved your site access details, most likely your browser auto-completed the password field using your site password; so you can try to use it to extract your archive.

That's something very very annoying (it happened to us, too!) so we added a workaround in version 4.0.0
