EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Ok I have a JPA file sized 17mb and how much space is required for Kickstart installation?

I have 60MB freespace and that not enough?

Is there is any other way to do it within 60MB?

You need enough space for the archive itself and its extracted contents. A JPA archive restores to somewhere between 2x - 4x its original size. Therefore 60Mb may be a little bit too small.

You can always extract the archive locally (using Akeeba eXtract Wizard) and upload the extracted files to your host WITHOUT uploading kickstart.php and the JPA file. The trick here is that Kickstart is only used to extract the archive. The actual restoration script is included inside the archive itself, therefore you don't need Kickstart to restore an Akeeba Backup archive. That's our single most important difference to other site backup solutions for Joomla! and WordPress.

After uploading the extracted files visit the URL http://www.yoursite.com/installation/index.php where www.yoursite.com is the domain name of your new site. After the restoration is complete please remember to delete the installation directory from your site as instructed by the restoration script.
