This is a "Me too" for #19486

I have the same symptoms for all updates on 3.2.3 and 2.5.19

Additionally, the update Akeeba icon in the Akeeba control panel is missing alltogether.

Apologies - now I see the problem you have! Agree that a move to using the built in update mechanism is an improvement. Assume it will be able to cope with your update token for pro versions.

Yes, of course it is. We have implemented a solution which works on both Joomla! 3.2.1+ and 2.5.19+. Unfortunately earlier versions of Joomla! do not support updates for paid extensions. Of course the old Joomla! versions are vulnerable to security issues and should not be used on live sites, so this whole discussion point becomes rather moot very quickly.

In any case we continue working on tweaks which will make your life with this choice of updater much easier.
