More of an FYI then an issue... for one of my sites, that uses a .me domain, the update link always appears as /administrator/index.php?option=com_akeeba&view=liveupdate&task=startupdate and the actual domain is never included in the email.

With the versions released yesterday, Live Update has been removed from the Akeeba components and we're now using Joomla!'s update software. So your Live Update will not be a problem for the future.
