EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Is there a way to manage the number of sequential automated backups before overwriting takes place? For example: backup on M, W & Fri for one week, then the next week repeats replacing the oldest file. Monday replaces the previous Monday, etc... So there are always three backups at any given time.

Hello Ran,

yes, you can do that.
You have to setup scheduled backups running in these days, let's say Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Then you have to setup Quota management as described in this page of the manual: you have to flag the Enable count quota
