EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I've recently moved from AS3 storage to IDriveSync, simply because of cost and features.
It has worked ok for the first week, but last night the upload stopped half-way.
It suddenly says the account is not configured yet, which is quite a feat when it has uploaded several archives already.

Best regards Kenneth

The error message is misleading, the next message is simply "malformed" so I wouldn't focus too much on that.

Either your server or their server or the connection between them was too busy at that moment and the upload timed out. You already have the archive split into parts. Your choices are to do nothing and see if it happens again, or reduce your part size to minimize the chance of the timeout.

I've changed the filesize from 100 MB to 50 MB, I still see files left behind.
With 100 MB parts I saw 4 files left behind, and with 50 I see 5 files left behind.
It doesn't seem to be a timeout issue, can there be some sort of 'max run time' for php scripts before it's closed from the OS, even when run from the CLI, or can it be a session timeout from the idrivesync api?
It seems to happen 16-18 mins after launch.

Best regards Kenneth

The files left behind are not the important part, the important part is that the complete backup is not being transferred to your cloud storage. It would not be possible to restore what is on your cloud storage at this point. "Messy" is bad, but "can't restore" is really bad.

How many parts were in that last backup total, it looks like 17, jpa plus 16 numbered parts.

Yes, that's true. And yes, I believe it was 17 parts.

I launch the cli command like this:
/usr/local/bin/php -c  $path$/php.ini $path$/public_html/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=8 --description="Remote Backup" >/dev/null 2>&1

And my php.ini that is used for this command, looks like this:
max_execution_time = 3600
date.timezone = Europe/Copenhagen
memory_limit = 32M

It was previously set to 300, but changing it to 3600 didn't improve the result.

I'm going to ask Nicholas to take a look at this.

This does seem to be something coming from iDriveSync, not our code. For some reason they seem to dislike being sent lots of files one after the other to them. One way to work around that is to enable the "Process each part immediately" option in the configuration of Upload to iDriveSync in the Configuration page of Akeeba Backup.

Ok, I'll try and activate that and see if it improves.

And that made it work it seems, I'll observe it for a few days, but it seemed to have solved it, no errors, and all files present.
Allthough the logfile doesn't say much about it in the All information setting.

After setting the "Process each part immediately" the problem is not showing up any more, thankyou both for the help!

Best regards Kenneth
