EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I do not know to configure akeeba by a cron job I make a single backup, I mean:
Using Plesk and cron tasks unless they tell you every minute run during X time I only performs an action and does not stop to make the copy, but the fire it every minute I am So I re-start the process once completed so that makes me more of a backup.

I tried with - max-redirect = 10000 but in my OVH server is down, the only way is directly call "wget-O / dev / null" http://miweb.com/index.php?option=com_akeeba&view = backup & key = key & format = raw & profile = 1 "> / dev / null" and by scheduling time to time.

How I can do to make me just a backup?

Hello Luis,

let's take a step a step back.
What do you want to do? A daily backup?
Do you want to keep them all or only the latest X (where X a configurable number)

First of all take a look here, where we explain how you can setup a cronjob, you'll need to run it only once a week; if you don't know how to configure a CRON job, please ask support to your hosting.

After that, you have to tell Akeeba to keep only the latest two.
You can find more info on how to configure it on this page.
