EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
It seems something is missing in the package when we start the upgrade process from the component or from the e-mail received, the package is downloaded then extracted but the xml file seems to be missing and the installation fails.

But when I download the pro-package and install it the old way, no problem.

It happens on various sites using AckeebaBackup

Any ideas?

On December 25 we did a major site upgrade. As a result of that upgrade all of the Download IDs changed. You just need to update your Download ID and refresh the link and it will work. There is more information on what happened in this article: https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/1537-new-site-and-changes-in-dlid.html.
