EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
A client is using GoDaddy hosting (I know, I know...I didn't recommend it) and It took nearly an hour for GoDaddy to finally figure out that the host account was not 'officially' updated to the newest, operational PHP 5.4 version because I was receiving errors from Akeeba stating a conflict with PHP versions. So with that solved, I had set up another cron job with this script AS SET UP BY GODADDY: /web/cgi-bin/php5_4 "$HOME/html/cli/akeeba-altbackup.php" and it was to run on January 23, at 14:35.

The issue: I have not received any type of email confirming nor denying that the cron script actually worked. I see no backup under the destination folder, so I'm not sure what else to do or where to look to find out if it has worked or isn't.

How can I tell?

The Administer Backups screen is the bottom line. If the backup record is not there, it didn't happen.

Normally, you get an email from a CRON job with the history and results of the job. The job can be set up to send the output to null, so you don't get any report. I don't recall if there was anything unusual about the CRON job report from the olden days when I used GoDaddy hosting.
