EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

PHP versionError
PHP Version too new. Detected version: 5.5.4
Akeeba Backup needs PHP 5.3 or 5.4

I'm confused because the version check page stated Akeeba 3.9.1 is compatible.

Please Advise.

Hello Michael,

You are right, this should not be happening. I assume you saw that message in ALICE (our log analyzer)?

Yes, ALICE. I have a few sites that are not producing weekly backups as scheduled and I'm trying to identify why.

OK, I see what you mean. This rule was added during the development of ALICE. In the meantime I was able to perform full testing on PHP 5.5 but we forgot to remove that rule. You can ignore the message about the PHP version being too new. Akeeba Backup is tested on PHP 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5.
