EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: I host approx 50 sites and I can never get Akeebabackup or Admin tools to install using the upgrade button. I have to go to your site download the appropriate version and upgrade using the extension manager.

I always get this error - JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

ANd this error - Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.

Please Help.

With the AkeebaBackup.com site upgrade on December 25, all of the Download IDs changed. Please read this article for details and instructions on how to upgrade your IDs: https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/1537-new-site-and-changes-in-dlid.html.

Just a note for the future, only the main Download ID is tied to your AkeebaBackup.com password. The Add-on IDs did not change with the site upgrade. It may be better for you to use Add-on IDs rather than the main ID.
