(What is Kickstart and how do we find it's version number?)

Description of my issue:

I see there is another ticket (18637) about this but when I click it I get massive text on a page saying "oh dear that's a 403". I think this might be part of the problem.

When trying to update Akeeba Backup Pro from 3.9.1 to 3.9.2 (also applies to Admintools updates), we are getting this :

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

It then does a backup, and fails to install the update. I have manually downloaded the new version and can install it that way, but I thought you'd like to know that the website is refusing to provide the update automatically. My guess is the automatic update is also seeing a 403 error?

Hope that helps.

Brian,

Thanks for the report, but it is a known issue. All of the Download IDs changed with our site update on December 25. You can see more information and instructions on what to do in this article: https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/1537-new-site-and-changes-in-dlid.html.
