Got it but unfortunately I am getting emails from my test sites which does not exist as we speak, Kind of weird.. I am getting a mail notifications once in every 60mins So annoying...

unfortunately I am getting emails from my test sites which does not exist
It is very common for these phantom update notifications to be generated by a test site. But the site has to exist in order to send the notices. What do you mean the test site does not exist?

^ the above site does not exist since few weeks... !GHOST!

The site isn't gone, it is suspended. Did you actually delete the site before the host suspended it? You may be able to kill it by changing the nameservers on the domain registration.

I deleted the data with my own bare hands from the Hosting....

but even though why it has to bug me every 30mins about the update, I wish it is OFF by default when it was installed...

Actually, the default is off. You set up the notifications in the post installation script. Most people turn them on at that point.

That site has to exist somewhere. Is it on a local development machine or a test site somewhere? We had exactly the same situation a week or so ago. He finally found an old test install on a local server that was spitting out the update notices.
