EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Got a 'One Click Update' email for a site, clicked on the link. Browser came up and two error messages appeared :

(In Red) JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
(In Blue) Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.

Then the standard Akeeba Backup "A new version is available" dialog is displayed at the bottom of the page.

When updating using the full 3.9.2 install package through the installed, it all goes fine.

OK ... on another site I get this message (in red):

Downloading the update package failed. Make sure that your temp-directory is writable or that you have enabled Joomla!'s FTP options in your site's Global Configuration.

Temp directory is set at 755, and I've never had to have FTP options enabled previously.
