EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I have the System - Backup on update plugin enabled. I just updated to Joomla 2.5.17, the backup proceeded successfully, but it used profile #1 which is stored on the website server.

Is there a way to set which profile the Backup on Update will use? I would prefer it to backup to an external server that I have configured in another profile.

Thanks, Richard

This feature will always use the default profile (#1). If you were able to choose another profile and then deleted it some very strange things would happen, that's why I've not implemented that feature.

OK, Thanks for the information. If I update profile #1 to store remotely it will work, right?
