EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Hi. When I try to install/update extensions or plugins, I get the Create Restore Point process and when it ends i get this error:
Invalid controller: name='akeeba', format=''
I did not find any similar case in your documentation.

dlb
It is a known issue which will be fixed with the next release. Please disable the System - System Restore Point plugin. That will allow you to use the Extension Manager again.

Tank's Nate.
When do you think the new release will come out?

I don't really know, I think Nicholas wants to release it next week. He's been crazy busy lately so it may slip. We're talking "this year" as opposed to "late Spring."
