EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Akeeba gives the following error when it is trying to make a restore point via the Extensions installation enhanced by Akeeba Backup:

500 - An error has occurred.

Invalid controller: name='akeeba', format=''

Regular backups via cron is working normally.

Anything I can do?

First disable the System - System Restore Points plugin. The install Akeeba Backup Professional 3.9.1 twice on your site, without uninstalling your existing version before doing that or in between subsequent installations. This will work around a bug in Joomla! which prevents some files, some times, from being overwritten on component upgrade.

Hmm, it didn't work...

I disabled System Restore Points plugin.
Then I installed Akeeba Pro 3.9.1 twice, cleared cache, ran the Akeeba configuration wizard, but I still get the error. (I also tried installing twice and not clearing cache or running the config wizard)

Can you please tell me the URL which appears in your browser when you get this error message (without the domain name, I only need the part to the right of /administrator/index.php in the URL)?

Sure, this is the url: administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=install&task=akeeba.realinstall

Thanks! I know where the problem is. I will fix that in the next release of Akeeba Backup, scheduled for the week before Christmas.
