AJAX Loading Error
HTTP Status: 500 (Internal Server Error)
Internal status: error
XHR ReadyState: 4
Raw server response:
----------------------------------------
Still error's on :
Backup engine died without its state having been saved. The engine was stepped 1 times, saved 0 times
Please check if you have enough disk space; if your part size is more than 5Mb (or it's 0) please try part sizes of 20, 10, 5 and 2Mb.
If you still get this error, change time settings inside Akeeba Backup; try minimum execution time 1, maximum 7 and runtime bias 50. If this doesn't work try minimum 5, maximum 3 (yes, max is less than min) and bias 50.

There is already an issue with the backup engine saving its state. Please fix it before continuing.
Please try setting min execution time to 1, max execution time to 10 seconds (or if the PHP timeout is less than 10 seconds, use 75% of the PHP timeout), runtime bias 75%

t seems that your installation is broken. This could happen when the host applies very strict security rules, misrecognising Akeeba Backup files as security threads and deleting or renaming them without asking you.
Please re-install Akeeba Backup without uninstalling it. If this doesn't help please contact your host at once. (I made a new .htaccess for trying but no solution)
---
Also installed it again but no solution..

Please zip and post your backup log file. That will give us some information about where the backup is stopping and may give a clue to what we need to do to fix it. The note in the log that the backup state was not saved is the result of the 500 error not the cause of it.

See the zip, sorry i forgot to add the zip. It was still on the desktop :)
If the upload not working : http://www.patrickstroobach.eu/backuplog.zip

I can't download the log from your website, I'm just getting your front page. How big is the file? There is a 4 Mb limit on uploads on this website. Most zipped log files aren't that big. Do you have a Dropbox account or something like that where you could upload it?

Got it! Thank you.

Let's start with that "Broken installation" message. Please install Akeeba Backup twice back to back. Do not uninstall the component, that will lose all of your settings.

This happens when there are files in the component's directory which have not been updated. Unfortunately the only easy solution is to uninstall and reinstall Akeeba Backup. By doing that you will lose all your existing settings and any backups in the default backup output directory will be removed. Before uninstalling the component you are strongly adviced to export your backup profiles, keep a local copy of your backups and import the exported profiles after you have reinstalled the component.

In this case you should be receiving a PHP error in your logs when the backup fails. I'd like to see that error message. It will help me figure out what is broken on your host.

If there is no PHP error but the backup terminates prematurely you will have to contact your host and ask them to stop killing the backup script. Some extremely low quality hosts forcibly kill every PHP script which uses "too much" memory or CPU time. Backup is a memory and CPU intensive process. If the host kills the backup script you should not be trusting them with your site because, simply put, they are proving to you that they have oversold their servers to many times over their capacity.

Problem solved,

/public_html/administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/engines/archiver/zip.php
/public_html/administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/engines/archiver/jpa.php

Files where deleted by virus scanner of the host provider.

I would STRONGLY recommend moving to another host. A host MUST NOT delete files without giving you a fair warning.
