Is it correct that box.com has been removed as post-processing option since 21st November? If so, this will be a disaster for my business.

It is temporarily removed for the reasons described in our documentation. Their new API cannot be used unless an API key is registered for each site it is going to be used with. I am still trying to find a solution, essentially trying to make the Box API work in a way it was never designed to.
The removal of the old API and the problematic new API came as a bigger surprise to me. The timeframe was impossible for me to provide a solution and the new API doesn't give much of breathing space... My recommendation at this time is to move to Dropbox or Amazon S3. Much better APIs and much more stable.
