Hello,

My site is online since more than a year. Admin tools and Akeeba have always worked correctly.

I wanted to update: joomla, akeeba and Admintools:
- I made a backup using akeeba (I had the screen telling the backup was done)
- I selected admintools and I updated it. It went ok.
- I selected Akeeba and I immediately got an error message. It is in french. The translation is something like: Akeeba has detected that the tables in the DB are corrpted. You have an issue with your MySQL server. Be sure that your version is at least 4.1 (5.0 or above recommended). Please uninstall and reinstall the component. You can't backup if the problem is not solved.

The log file is in attachment.

Is this the only solution. Uninstall/install. This a production website. I need it to run really smoothly!!!

First try installing the component twice, without uninstalling it in between. If this doesn't help you will have to uninstall and reinstall the component but please note that your configuration will be removed, along with any existing backups stored in the default backup output directory.

Thanks for your late reply. I really do appreciate.

I did the installation twice. Akeeba seems to be up again. I have kept my configuration and the backups.

Whatever happened, you had the solution.
