Just upgraded to J2.3 and all good (kind of)

If I try to reinstall template (JoomlaShack Wylia) I get the error: (after it does the backup)

An error has occurred. 0 Invalid controller: name='akeeba', format=''

Steps to rectify:

Reintall latest Joomla 2.3
Unistall Admin tools and Akeeba (and checked phpmysql tables)
Re-installed Admin Tools and Akeeba BU
Clear cache

Still get error warning after it does the backup to reinsall template.

Just disable the System - System Restore Points plugin.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for the quick reply.

Disabled plugin. Still does the same:

Go to upload template, goes through the backup process, finishes BU, then displays error.

What you describe is simply not possible because you have disabled the plugin, ergo the code isn't running. The only possible way you can get that issue is if you have a code cache (like APC) installed on your site. In this case you will have to ask your host on how to reset that code cache (or wait for a day or two to get it cleared automatically). It also explains why you are reporting a bug that existed in version 3.9.0 and fixed in version 3.9.1 despite the fact that you have version 3.9.1 installed.

ok...

Could this be caused by upgrading to 3.2 last week and having issues with joomSEF and having to reintall 3.15 again?

So what exactly do I need to ask hosts (It has been over 24hrs since the issue arose.

sambob
Not to worry...

just tired again (cleared expired cache etc) and now it works.

Strange.

Thanks for your help Nicholas!

I think the problem was a code cache. After a while the cache expires aaaaand... magic fix :)

Hi Nicholas,

Just came back here to check but strangely I could not log in via Chrome (but good via firefox).

Not sure if that is your end or my end...

It's most likely something on your end. I am using Chrome for day to day operations.

Ah, it makes sense... Try to clear your browser's cache. I have upgraded RokBox on this site. Guess what? It requires clearing the browser cache for the update to really work.
