Joomla! version: (unknown)
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Akeeba Backup version: Core

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: In the Backup Quick Start Guide page 16 reference is made to, 'While the backup to email feature is good for small sites ... '.
Where do I find this ? Is this only with the Pro version ?
Alternatively, since I (only) have Core, can I safely save my backup to 'drafts' in my email program ? At present I only have a '00' backup. The file type is .jpa.

dlb
Yes, this feature is only available in the Pro version.

So in reply to :
Alternatively, since I (only) have Core, can I safely save my backup to 'drafts' in my email program ? the answer is , Yes ?
But at my own risk !
In this regard, do you know if email programs will accept .jpa attachments ?

dlb
But the email feature is only available in the Backup Pro version. You can not get the Core version to email the backup to you after it is completed.

The best way to transfer your backup file to your local computer is to download it vis FTP in binary mode. The binary mode is important since ASCII mode will corrupt your backup file.
