Description of my issue:
I am restoring over the original files of a site. The documentation says the program will recognize this and prefill in the database information. Unfortunately my restore says that I am restoring to a new location (it is not a new location). Can you help?

I did manage to complete my restore. I don't know what difference it made but when I tried to access the backend of the site, I was taken to kickstart. This time the restore process went exactly as the documentation said it would. Please close this ticket.
Thanks

Bob,

I can't explain why it didn't work the first time around. That first install didn't delete the /installation folder, when you tried to log in, you were redirected to the install script again. This part is expected behavior. I'm glad you got it working.
