Description of my issue:
Hello
Having upgraded to 3.8.1 Pro the system restore points being produced are huge - GB instead of MB.
I think you have an issue of some sort to deal with here. I am not aware of any additional configuration steps that I have missed and I have searched for an answer.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Mike

This is a known limitation of System Restore Points: the SRPs for Akeeba Backup cannot exclude the backup output directory. This is the result of a necessary modification in Akeeba Backup which allows SRPs to override file and directory exclusions, otherwise you could end up with blank SRPs if your default backup profile contains file and directory exclusion filters. Only the SRPs of Akeeba Backup are affected by this issue which, unfortunately, cannot be fixed.

OK - Thanks Nicholas, I'll just turn the SRPs off then.
Kind Regards
