Hello Harald,

please can you attach a copy of a failed backup log?

How are you calling that URL?
Did you setup a cron on your host or are you relying on a third party site?
Can you post the complete command that you are executing?

I do it with webcron since years on several sites like in your documentation:

cronjob: http://www.kulturring-straelen.de/index.php?option=com_akeeba&view=backup&key=xxxxxxxxxxx

I just checked the code and everything seems ok.
I assigned this ticket to Nicholas; however at the moment he is out of office, so he will answer as soon as he get his hands on a laptop, probably on Wednesday next week.

thanx, but

I found the error/issue: the entrys about Frontend-Backup in the options menu weren't no longer in the mask. I can't say why. The site was everyday backuping since April 2012 without any problems and with the 3rdparty Webcron Job as mentioned.
I'm the only Admin, how could that be? I don't know why the entries were gone??!!

To be honest, I really don't know...
Please fill the info again and try to run the webcron again.

Of course I've did it already and it runs like the last year without any problems - so we can close the ticket - However I will keep an eye of it!! ;-))
