Mandatory information about my setup:

Joomla! version: (2.5).14
PHP version: (5.3.5)

Akeeba Backup version: ( 3.7.10)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I'd like to do this:
backup weekly the complete site on Google Cloud Storage (got this working with a cronjob)
backup dayly the database on Google Cloud Storage

I've made 2 profiles for this. But how can I activate both profiles at the same time?

You have to create two backup profiles, just like you already did. If you want to automate the backup, you have to create one CRON job for each profile.

Activate the first profile (by going to Components, Akeeba Backup and selecting it from the drop-down above the icons) and go to Scheduling Information. You will see how to create CRON jobs for it. The URLs and command line shown there will cause only that first backup profile to execute.

After you have done that, activate the second profile (by going to Components, Akeeba Backup and selecting it from the drop-down above the icons) and go to Scheduling Information. You will see how to create CRON jobs for it. The URLs and command line shown there will cause only that second backup profile to execute.

Repeat for as many backup profiles as you need. Remember that each CRON job can be set up to run at different times, days and intervals.
