Joomla! version: 2.5.11

MySQL version: 5.1.70
Host: Dedicated apache server/2.2.23 (unix)

Description of my issue:
I cannot attach a log file as Akeeba no longer loads. :(
Followed the instructions in #16908 after upgrading from Core 3.7.10 to Pro 3.7.10. Installed twice during upgrade. Everything looked normal. Added in Subscription ID and on save was presented with the error message in the previous ticket. Double checked all files were set to 0644 at least.
Followed the instructions in the previous ticket, but generated "server error" in google chrome and simply had a white screen in Firefox. Logged out, logged in. Tried on different computer. Same result. Did a full install again (without uninstalling). Same result.
This is not mission critical but would be nice to figure out what is going on.
