Description of my issue:
After meeting the Siteground guys at JAB13 earlier this year I recently moved my site over to there cloud VPS.
Ever since I have had trouble with my akeeba backups moving to Amazon S3.
Sitground have spent ages looking at there settings and testing stuff and are still looking at it now actually, but I wanted to just quiz you on something if that's OK?
I have 1 full backup profile #1 and have checked in database that it is #1
This profile is configured to move the backup to Amazon S3 and does so in 100Mb parts when the backup is created from the backend. & I have modified the Backup name to "Nation-Full-[DATE]-[TIME]"
This works fine
I have a CRON job set up to back up this same (&only) profile.
The CRON job works, but instead of backing up in 100Mb parts, it backs up as one part.
Also the name of the backup changes from "the above" to "site-[HOST]-[DATE]-[TIME]" And this doesnt get transferred to Amazon S3.
Is there anything there that, makes you think we have something set up incorrectly?
I have tried both these CRON settings
/usr/local/bin/php /home/banation/public_html/cli/akeeba-backup.php
/usr/local/bin/php /home/banation/public_html/cli/akeeba-backup.php --profile=1
Thanks in advance,
Andy
