Description of my issue:

Hi Nicholas. We have a site which has a DB size of about 1GB. Will Akeeba Backup be able to backup the entire site, including the DB or is there a limitation on that?

Normally there is no problem, but I strongly doubt that you have 1Gb of useful data. Most likely the bulk of it is Smart Search data which is automatically excluded anyway. A lot of it could be logs or other temporary information that needn't be backed up. That said, I know of a sports site with a 10Gb database (i.e. an endless amount of football fans insulting each other in the articles' comments...) that did get backed up and restored to another server successfully.

Thanks Nicholas. I think the data is all valid, cause we are have an API connectivity with a hotel website and we are storing alot of info on the DB. I will give it a shot to see if it works. If the logs do not give me an error, should I assume that it was backed up correctly?
